Skye and I were discussing possible plots, and this is what I came up with...T H E __ G R E A T __ B R E A K;; ________________________________________________________Cats all over the forest have been breaking rules for moons and moons. They've shown an obvious disregard for the warrior code. For example, Freeflight mated with a ThunderClanner, then fell in love with a WindClanner and decided to leave her clan for him. There are numerous other examples as well, almost too many to list. With each passing moon, more and more of the code is being ignored, and such infractions are being looked over.
The warrior code is being hanged. StarClan tries to bring sense to the clans, but there is only so much they can do. Piece by piece, things fall apart. One starry night, a leader openly opposes the warrior code-- at a Gathering. From there, two of the other clans simply agree with them. Shouldn't they be allowed to do what they chose, what makes them happy? Why should they follow a set of over-bearing laws set down by a bunch of dead cats? They choose to step away from the code and follow only the rules leaders choose to enact. Well, it's only a small step from there to doing whatever each individual cat wants to do. The clans are slowly dissolving into a mess of dark chaos.
But one clan remains held fast to the warrior code. Watching their fellows fall apart has made the cling to the code stronger than ever before. They become superstitious and soon believe StarClan will painfully punish them for any crimes they commit. If any sort of accident occurs, it is automatically seen as a punishment from StarClan.
Well, the one organized clan sees it as their duty to bring order back to the forest. But, as they understand it, the only way to right things is to, quite simply, establish rule over the entire forest-- one clan ruling over three. The other clans, unorganized and lacking much loyalty to the clans they were born in, stand little chance. Soon the entire lake territory is headed by one clan.
Once chaotic and scattered, the three dominated clans slowly succumb to the warrior code once more-- but a code that is far more strict than the original one. Cats can scarcely stand up for themselves without being punished in some manner. The one ruling clan sees themselves as better than the others; they, after all, never gave up on StarClan. They are unusually cruel to the others. But the oppressors still stand above the others, for they are tightly organized, larger, and remain entirely loyal to one another and StarClan. The three clans have no choice but to follow their rule.
But that doesn't stop them from dreaming of a day when a rebellion might start and they will at last be free of their oppressors. When that day comes, will they return to their chaotic, heathen ways, or stick to the code they have been retaught?
I don't want to survive; I want to live. I'd like to know what you all think of it. Like it? Dislike it? Please post a response, no matter what it is you're thinking.

I agree with both Air and Sketch. The plot makes sense and ties in with what is happening right now. Me likes. ^^
